Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen    

  • At least 17 years old at the time of local pageant

  • May be no more than 24 years old on December 31 of competition year

  • Female, never been married, with no children

  • Legal resident of New York at least six months prior to competition, or attending college in NYS

Competition components of the pageant include:

  • 10 minute interview

  • Lifestyle in swimsuit

  • Talent presentation (must be 1 Min. 30 seconds or less)

  • Evening wear

  • On-stage question

  • Adoption of the personal platform


CMN Component:

All Miss Thousand Islands contestants are required to raise a minimum of $100 to support the Children's Miracle Network and the Miss America Scholarship Fund. This is not an entrance fee, but rather a service requirement to participate in Miss America sponsored pageants.

 

Workshop:
We hold a mandatory contestant workshop a few weeks before pageant weekend. At the workshop, we outline CMN requirements, wardrobe, makeup, the job description for Miss TI, and hold mock interviews and feedback sessions.
